Explorers — ocean skills for kids 6 to 11.
A pathway that starts with a book and ends with your kid confident in the water. They work through a printed Explorers manual at home, offline, then come to us for the in-water part with qualified instructors.
How it works
1. Buy a voucher — a good gift from parents, aunties, uncles or grandparents.
2. Your child works through the Explorers manual at home.
3. Book the experiences you want, across summer or across the year.
4. Each session is taught by qualified instructors in a pool or confined water.
The levels
Blue Oceans Explorer — $79
Where everyone starts. Ocean awareness, marine life and looking after the moana.
Snorkel Explorer — $139
Mask, snorkel and fins. Getting comfortable with a face in the water.
Mermaid Explorer — $159
Monofin and tail, in the pool.
Freediving Explorer — $159
First breath-hold skills, taught safely and gently.
Full Explorer Pack — $450
All four, and the best value if they're keen.
Who it's for
Kids aged 6 to 11 who are comfortable in water. They don't need to be strong swimmers to start with Blue Oceans.
What's included
The printed manual, all gear, SSI recognition for each level completed, and small groups so every kid gets looked after.
What to bring
Togs, a towel and a water bottle. We provide the rest.
