Sauna + Cold Plunge

- Duration: 50 Minutes (approx.)
- Location: Paihia, New Zealand, Northland
- Product code: Contrast therapy
A community sauna. Come once. Or make it yours.
A shared space in a hidden courtyard at 30 Selwyn Road, Paihia — a cedar sauna, a proper cold plunge, and people who turn up for each other.
What a session is
Fifty minutes, in small groups. Heat, then cold, then a cup of tea in the courtyard if you want one. Come as you are.
What it costs
$35 a session. Prepay and save with a session pack: five for $150, or ten for $250.
Become a Salty Local — $20 a week
Three saunas a week, and you let yourself in from 6am to 10pm, any day. That works out under $7 a sauna. A one-off $60 joining fee covers your induction and your first week. Three-month minimum, weekly direct debit.
Private hire — $150 an hour
The whole place, just for you. Fit as many as you like. Ask us about a hosted and themed session, a snacking platter, loaded waters, fresh ice or mocktails.
What to bring
A towel is required in the sauna — bring your own, or hire one for $5. We recommend two: one for the sauna, one to dry off after. Togs and a water bottle.
Before you book
If you are pregnant or have a heart condition, have a quick chat with us and your GP before your first plunge.
We confirm every booking ourselves, so please book at least 3 hours ahead.
