Day 1: Foundations in the Pool
Immerse yourself in the world of freediving as we cover the basics. Our expert-led sessions in the pool lay the groundwork, ensuring you grasp the essential techniques. This isn’t just training – it’s the beginning of a transformative experience.

Day 2: Embrace the Ocean at Poor Knights Islands
The transition from pool to the ocean and put your newfound skills to the test. Dive into one of the world’s most captivating spots, the Poor Knights Islands. Marvel at the enchanting underwater realm, where nature and adventure coalesce. Conclude your course with memories of a beautiful Poor Knights adventure, a unique experience reserved for a fortunate few.

Highlights:

• Comprehensive two-day training, from basics to actual ocean diving.
• Dive at the globally-renowned Poor Knights Islands, a mesmerising marine reserve.
• Expert instruction ensures safety, knowledge, and a one-of-a-kind adventure.

• Knowledge development about freediving techniques and equipment. You’ll study independently using the PADI Freediver eLearning. 

• Confined water session to learn stretching and relaxation techniques and refine static and dynamic apnea. Goal – static apnea of 90 seconds and dynamic apnea of 25 metres/165 feet 

• Open water sessions to practice deeper free immersion and constant weight freedives, along with additional buddy procedures and rescue techniques. Goal – constant weight freedive of 16 meters/65 feet 

Equipment needed:

You need a mask, snorkel, bifins, wetsuit and weight belt.  We hire these if you need them!.
